We then discussed with him development topics that are close to our hearts. Indeed, we took stock of a certain number of sectors which are essential for the country and which are also found in the action plan for the stabilization and development of Burkina. These are subjects on infrastructure, particularly roads. At this level, the Head of Government has asked us to make a special effort. We also discussed subjects relating to energy, agriculture, social housing and the development of human capital, that is to say everything related to health and education. Besides,
The delegation was accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Finance and Foresight, Aboubacar Nacanabo. For him, Burkina is a shareholder of BOAD. The president of the bank therefore came to visit “us” as a shareholder to have orientations in relation to the development vision of the country. “He had the opportunity to learn about the stabilization and development action plan which highlights the priorities of the Transition. After our discussions with the President of Faso and the Prime Minister, it is clear that the priority of priorities is infrastructure because we are convinced that if we manage to develop this sector, we can easily boost development,” he said. he explains. Besides that, he continued, we have the question of the agricultural and energy sectors which also need to be developed. Apart from the support to the government, the important element that must be taken into account is the support to the private sector. We asked the president of BOAD to also pay particular attention to this sector.
